Co. Names New Plant Manager
Local Company Announces Internal Promotion
OELWEIN, Iowa (July 26, 2007) – City Laundering Co.
is pleased to announce the promotion of veteran employee, Jean
Kane. Kane has recently accepted the position of Plant Manager
with the company. She oversees plant and stockroom operations.
Kane has been with City Laundering for 19 years and has worked
in all capacities of the business, including route sales. She
served as stockroom manager and, most recently, co-plant manager.
She is a member of the Oelwein Lions Club, and serves as secretary
of the NE Iowa Harley Owners Group. Kane is married with two
children.
Founded in 1906, City Laundering supplies textile
rental services on a weekly basis to thousands
of businesses throughout
Northeast Iowa and Southwest Wisconsin. The company is now
celebrating its 100th year in business. Services include uniform
rental, towel rental, dust control services, restroom supplies
and personalized image apparel. City Laundering Company is
headquartered in Oelwein, Iowa, and employs more than 60 individuals. |
